WHY? We have new equipment and are trying to get the word out. The promotional may run 2-3 months depending on participation. We are not sure yet. Every x-ray will create a donation from us to help provide clean drinking water to those in need. RUN4WATER. Simple awareness is the start, and every bit helps!
PRELIMINARY REPORTING:
Your one-view, no cosrt x-ray will be reviewed by one of our providers and our medical director, who can then determine if the study is normal, abnormal, or needs further imaging. If possible, we will take a look immediately. Otherwise, we will contact you via phone or email regarding your preliminary results.
If we see something abnormal on the image, you may return to be seen by us or follow-up with another provider to further evaluate the issue and get the additional imaging you might need. (This requires a separate visit and is not part of this new promotion).
If your x-ray is normal and doesn’t explain your concern or complaint, and you consider it significant, making an appointment with a provider is strongly recommended to find the cause of the issue.

All films over read by our medical director and questionable ones sent out to radiology- All Free!
Your x-ray is actually a medical procedure. The state program is overseen the Tennessee department of Health. We administer radiology procedures with a great deal of care and technique to reduce any unnecessary exposure to radiation. People often ask if an x-ray is “safe”. The short answer is “yes”. A single x-ray only exposes the body to the same amount of natural occurring radiation that someone experiences over 10 days while just walking around daily life. The CAT scans that people receive at an imaging center or hospital can expose them significantly more radiation, up to 250 to 1000 times more, in just a brief 15-minute scan. Regardless of the type of x-ray or scans the people get, we only scan if there is a reason as all radiation exposure is cumulative and can cause trouble over the life time. So, although you may get one x-ray today you may need many more in the future so unless there’s a problem it is not generally advised to get an x-ray “just for fun.”
If you have any of the following concerns, we will be glad to go ahead and get you set up for an x-ray appointment. If not, we’ll give you a voucher to use in the future, even after the promotional time is over. Some common reasons to get an x-ray or listed below.
